One of the first and most ancient Castle buildings. The Tower was used for observation of surroundings and as a last shelter in the event of siege. The Tower has five floors, hight – 38 metres.

| Exhibition on the 1st floor is about history of the Tower, its structure and military significance. From the panoramic platform on the top floor discloses magnificent landscape of the picturesque Gauja valley, territory of museum reserve and castle yard. Exhibition on the top floor gives information about objects observable in all directions.

Built in the 13th century to protect the Castle from the southern side. The Tower has annexe and cellar. On the first floor of the Southern Block there is observable a unique ceiling covering – the gothic double cross vault.

Exhibition is arranged in the annexe where combustion chamber of Warm-air stove has preserved. Living rooms in the Castle were heated by Warm-air stoves. Exhibition shows operation principles of the stoves and their location in the buildings.

| Exhibition is made as 16th century interior taking into account that from 13th – middle of 16th century Turaida belonged to archibishops of Riga.

| Exhibited pictures of the middle of 18th century and 19th century about Turaida castle and its environment. Exhibition shows a model of Turaida castle.

| Exhibited materials which were used in castle building are found in archeological escavations – roof tiles, stove tiles, samples of floor coverings, bricks. Especially interesting is collection of bricks. In several bricks there are footprints of animals which are left by 13th century domestic animals – goats, dogs, cats etc.
