The Turaida Museum Reserve gradually opens indoor exhibitions to visitors


DSC06855On June 3, exhibitions will be open in the Western Block of the Turaida Castle and in the Main Tower, as well as exhibition “The Gauja Livs in Latvia’s Cultural History” in the Gardener's House. Starting with June 4, exhibition in the Turaida Church will be available for visitors.

According to the Government's decision of 1 June 2021, museums are open for individual visits from June 3. During the visit, 2 meters distance should be observed for human safety and face masks used indoors. For one person 25 m² are designed in the publicly available indoor space. Hand disinfection and other safety measures must be observed.

In June, the Turaida Museum Reserve is open as follows:

From Monday to Thursday  10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On Fridays, weekends (Saturdays, Sundays) and holidays 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Indoor exhibitions will be open each day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

From 6:00 p.m. only open-air exhibitions will be available for visitors in the territory of the Turaida Museum Reserve.
