Museum Reserve


The Turaida Museum Reserve may only be visited with an interoperable Covid-19 vaccination certificate or Covid-19 recovery certificate.


To visit the Turaida Museum Reserve, a mandatory requirement is to show an interoperable Covid-19 vaccination certificate or Covid-19 recovery certificate. Interoperable* certificates together with an identity document (passport or ID card) will be checked at the Museum’s Ticket Office before purchasing an entrance ticket.

*From 1stSeptember persons from  the United States, Australia, Israel, New Zealand and Canada who have been vaccinated with the vaccine registered by the European Medicines Agency or an equivalent regulator or recognized by the World Health Organization and will have the appropriate Proof can enter Latvia without additional restrictions.

These certificates that are not interoperable** at EU level can only be used for entry to Latvia and cannot be used for visiting supermarkets, cultural events and other sites of limited access.

**An interoperable certificate is a certificate that, when scanned with a QR code, we see in green with the inscription valid.
