Extended Opening Hours of the Turaida Museum Reserve in March and April

In response to visitor interest, the opening hours of the Turaida Museum Reserve in March and April have been extended from 10:00 to 18:00.

Every day without days off, exhibitions are open in the Western Block of the Turaida Stone Castle, basement of the Semi-circular Tower and the Main Tower, as well as  open-air exhibitions in the territory of the Museum Reserve - on the Church Hill, in Folk Song Park, and in the Economic Centre of the Turaida Estate.

From Wednesday to Sunday, the Gardener's House with the exhibition "Gauja Livs in the Cultural History of Latvia" will welcome visitors as well.

During the Easter time from 29 March to 1 April, the exhibition "Easter Greeting Cards in the Collection of the Turaida Museum Reserve" will be on view in the Turaida Church.

When visiting the Turaida Museum Reserve, we recommend using a mobile app - an audio guide, which will be a good companion to explore the story of the Historical Centre of Turaida. Information is available in six languages. The mobile app can be downloaded for free on GooglePlay -
